Odisha pavilion wins top honor at IITF 2025

State earns this honor for showcasing innovation, culture and investment potential

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has secured the First Prize for Excellence in Display at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from November 14 to 27. The state received the prestigious Gold Medal from the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), marking a proud moment for Odisha on the national stage.

The Odisha Pavilion received high praise for its vibrant and well-designed presentation, which highlighted the state’s growing role as a centre for investment, innovation, rich culture and sustainable development. Visitors and organisers appreciated how effectively the pavilion showcased Odisha’s strengths across multiple sectors, from industry and tourism to handicrafts and community-based enterprises.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his happiness on social media, dedicating the award to the people of Odisha. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Odisha has added yet another feather to its star-studded cap. Our display at the India International Trade Fair 2025 won gold and stands as a solid exemplification of the creative brains of Odisha. This gold medal is for the state and special kudos to the artisans and SHGs who took the Odia soul to Delhi and shone through.”

The achievement reflects the state’s continued efforts to promote entrepreneurship, support artisans, and highlight Odisha’s rich cultural heritage on major platforms. The recognition at IITF 2025 also strengthens Odisha’s growing image as a state that welcomes investment while preserving its traditions and encouraging local talent.
