CM Mohan Majhi Highlights Odisha’s Vision at NDA Chief Ministers’ Meet

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday presented his government’s development-focused vision and key initiatives at the NDA Chief Ministers’ meeting held in New Delhi. The conclave, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, brought together leaders from BJP and allied states to discuss governance, national priorities, and the roadmap for a developed India — “Viksit Bharat”.
Majhi, attending the meeting for the first time as the state’s first BJP Chief Minister, emphasized his government’s commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and aligning Odisha’s growth with national aspirations.
Sharing his experience of the event, Majhi described it as a dynamic platform for exchanging bold ideas and effective governance strategies. “The conclave was full of energy, bold ideas, and actionable insights on governance, development, and nation-building,” he said.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Majhi wrote, “Proudly showcased Odisha’s impactful initiatives and drew inspiration from the success stories of other NDA-governed states. One mission. One goal. Viksit Bharat.”
He highlighted Odisha’s renewed focus on administrative transparency, citizen-centric schemes, and rapid infrastructure growth. Majhi also said his government is actively studying the best practices of other BJP-led states to replicate successful models across various sectors including education, healthcare, digital governance, and agriculture.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to improving the lives of Odisha’s citizens by driving employment, empowering rural communities, and attracting private investment. He also underscored the importance of cooperative federalism and Odisha’s commitment to contributing to India’s broader development goals.
The meeting served as a platform for synergy among NDA states, where leaders shared achievements and challenges while aligning with the central government’s goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.
Majhi’s participation signals Odisha’s evolving political and developmental direction under the new BJP government and its willingness to adopt a national outlook while preserving regional priorities.
