Ravi Kant Removed as Odisha Resident Commissioner
In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred Ravi Kant, the Resident Commissioner of Odisha Bhawan in New Delhi, to the role of Officer on Special Duty in the Home Department. The official notification regarding this change was released on Monday. Ravi Kant is an 1998 batch IPS.
In addition, Vishal Gagan, who currently serves as the Special Secretary of the Industries Department, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, until further notice. This move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and ensure efficient governance.
Gagan is an 1998 batch IAS.
