JSW Steel Opens New Eco-Friendly Office in Barbil

JSW Steel Odisha Mining Division has opened a brand-new corporate office near Barbil town, marking a key moment in the company’s growth in the region. The inauguration took place on Friday with a traditional puja ceremony, highlighting JSW’s respect for cultural values.
Top JSW officials including Business Head Prasanna Panda, Mining Operations Head Ram Shankar Sharma, HR Head Chittaranjan Bahinipati, and Security & Safety In-charge Sanjeev Choudhury were present at the ceremony. Employees also participated with enthusiasm, making the event memorable.
Spread across 1.87 acres, the new two-story office building is designed to accommodate about 100 employees. It includes a guest house, a large lawn, improved parking, and a landscaped garden—offering a comfortable and attractive work environment.
The office is built with sustainability at its core. It features energy-saving LED lighting, a modern transformer, and solar panels to reduce its carbon footprint. These additions show JSW Steel’s commitment to being environmentally responsible while maintaining high work standards.
Security has also been given top priority. The facility includes advanced CCTV surveillance and access control systems to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all staff members. Inside, modern conference rooms, comfortable seating, and recreational spaces have been added to support teamwork, innovation, and employee well-being.
