Jindal Steel & Power Renamed as Jindal Steel Limited
Bhubaneswar :Jindal Steel & Power Limited has officially rebranded itself as Jindal Steel Limited, effective July 22, 2025, following necessary approvals from the Registrar of Companies under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
The name change aligns with the company’s sharpened focus on its core steel operations and marks a significant milestone in its journey towards becoming a more future-ready, steel-centric enterprise. The new identity emphasizes clarity, brand cohesion, and strategic direction—both in the domestic and international markets—while retaining the legacy and values that have shaped the company since inception.
According to the company, the transition complies with Rule 29 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014. The Registrar of Companies has issued a new Certificate of Incorporation reflecting the updated name.
Importantly, there will be no changes to the company’s Corporate Identification Number (CIN: L27105HR1979PLC009913) or its registered office address, which remains:
Jindal Steel Limited, O.P. Jindal Marg, Hisar – 125005, Haryana, India.
Under its new name, Jindal Steel will continue to operate as a public limited company limited by shares. All current agreements, responsibilities, contracts, and obligations remain unchanged and fully in force.
The company has confirmed that necessary filings have been made with the stock exchanges and other regulatory bodies. All stakeholders, business partners, investors, and members of the public are requested to take note of this change.
